New Job

Started a new job today. I'm not thrilled because it isn't what I want to be doing. Unfortunately, the real world requires money to be able to survive, have a roof and put food on the table. So I've put what I really want to be doing on a bit of a hold, for now. I'll still be doing that at night and on weekends but I won't be devoting myself to it the way I once thought I would be doing right out of the gate.

The downside is that normally I'm pretty jazzed about new jobs but with this one, it just wasn't there. Lots of rules and lots of restrictions at least for my first 90 days. I don't do so well with lots of rules. Yeah.

To make it even more exciting, 3/4 of the people they hire don't last more than 60 days and are terminated or quit because they don't like or can't handle the position.

So yeah, it's been a banner day. :(
